Naked on the Piano

NAKED ON THE PIANO is the creative and editorial arm of Furthermore Media Ltd.

A central-London based agency, our speciality is creating content with editorial integrity and working with brands to find and implement their voice. This can range from wide reaching communications strategy, to bespoke publishing projects such as books or magazines, to essential copywriting and editorial. We offer a full spectrum of design services where required but we are equally happy to work with your existing team.

It’s not just about having a way with words. Our key strength lies in our far reaching network. Our team comprises journalists and authors, magazine editors and exhibition curators, all of whom are as well versed in making connections as they are in providing industry insights.

We prefer to describe ourselves as a collaborative rather than a collective, drawing on a pool of experts to form a unique team for each project, from award winning, internationally renowned photographers to film makers, illustrators, designers and digital managers.

Our clients primarily operate in the luxury sector but range from hotel groups, galleries and fashion houses, to governments, consulates and embassies.

  • Magazine Publishing
  • Journalism & Editorial

At  NAKED ON THE PIANO we believe that people’s attention spans are a limited and precious resource. Communications, therefore, should be wisely focused: simple, direct, engaging and, when appropriate, entertaining.

The  NAKED ON THE PIANO story is true, though has been elevated to urban myth status over the years. As legend has it, the phrase was the party trick of a high ranking but mischievous diplomat, who would use it with great gusto at formal functions. Often bored at such occasions, he would wait for that inevitable time when the chatter quietened, as it almost always does at some point.

Then, and only then, would he suddenly bellow his punchline, for all to hear…

AND
THERE SHE WAS!
NAKED
ON THE PIANO!

No-one ever knew who she was, where, or how she came to be so shockingly starkers, but they all, without exception, wanted to.

The old general knew how to get people to perk up and listen.
